The ÖSD Zertifikat B1 tests the ability to use the language independently in everyday and professional situations involving familiar topics and personal areas of interest. The exam is published jointly with the Goethe-Institute and is designed for learners aged 16 and over.
For the ÖSD certificate B2 exam, participants should be able to express themselves clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics and be able to hold a normal conversation spontaneously and fluently with native speakers. This exam demonstrates linguistic competence in communication situations that extend beyond the private sphere into the (semi-)public and, in some cases, the professional sphere. ÖSD certificate B2 is designed for learners aged 16 and over.
